This person will serve as the link between our management team and employees. Must Have the Following:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• 5+ years’ HR experience and 2 years’ minimum experience in a construction office/setting
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and conscientious
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, with fast, accurate computer skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
HR Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
• Serve as the point person for duties including: job descriptions, standard operating procedures, recruitment,
employee relations, performance management and training development
• Continue to develop and improve HR strategies, initiatives, tactics and procedures across the organization
• Be comfortable with day-to-day employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues
• Manage the recruitment and selection process
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation
of human capital
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program
• Serve as point person for New Hires and completion of initial paperwork
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Prepare monthly Workman’s Compensation Reports, Certified Payroll Reports, and Union Reports
