It is suggested that you wait 12 to 16 weeks for Trex to naturally fade before applying paint or stain to prevent discoloration. Additionally, Trex fencing is environmentally friendly. It is made from recycled and reclaimed plastics and wood that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
